Investigating ChezzKids Archive or 'Chezz.com', The Most Interesting Internet Mystery | www.Rhetter.com

At first glance when stumbling across the YouTube account 'ChezzKids Archive', one might actually scroll on implicating that it's actually an archive channel that posts content from an old early 2000's flash game called 'ChezzKids'. The channel presents the content as 'findings', explaining that Chezz.com A.K.A. ChezzKids was an old website for kids to learn and play flash games that hasn't existed since the early 2000's as it went defunct leaving no trace of its existence anywhere online. One person as it seems has dedicated the YouTube account, an Instagram account, and a Twitter account to Chezz, asking any viewers for information or other findings they might have. And if you haven't guessed it by now, the Chezz website, flash games, and just all of it in general aren't real pieces of lost media and it was all created for the purpose of entertainment, but to me it's an extremely interesting and unique ongoing art piece that unfolds horrifying and creepy things within.

Going by the ChezzKids Arhive Twitter account's feed, this whole 'lost media' horror series has garnered a pretty big and expanding dedicated fanbase even if it's still a rather small and fresh project. The fanbase posts their fanart drawings, their own Chezz fanfiction comics, and more. It's strange, indeed. But one thing from this whole project that I do love and appreciate is the fact that the YouTube channel for ChezzKids Archive posts incredibly unique music that comes from the old "flash game" that I'm pretty sure the creator of this whole thing has made themselves and I'm here for it. The sheer creativity in creating an ongoing 'lost media' flash game that includes a creepy complex story that still needs more answers and producing the insanely cool old flash game styled soundtrack all on your own is badass. Respect from my corner, that's all I'm saying here!

Now, the creator behind this has yet to reveal themselves and probably never will. But doing some simple social media digging, I believe that a Twitter user, artist, and illustrator @Flip_Flapjacks is most likely the creator and artist who is responsible most likely because clicking their linktree you will find a YouTube account named Marigold that has similar editing and similar styled music. While finding the creator is irrelevant, I found it more wishful to find the creator just for the sake of being a fan of that person's art in general and not just one intriguing project they're making. User Flip_Flapjacks also has a very similar art and animating style as seen in Chezz 'findings' on YouTube and of course on the Marigold channel as well while that sweet sweet aesthetic music vibrates into my ear canals.

If any of you are waiting for me to explain the story that goes on in the Chezz universe, it simply won't happen because even after watching several videos I have no fucking idea what's really going on. What I've gathered is that Chezz has to go around finding gifts for his friend Lola's birthday party and apparently a girl named Sarah is also missing and I guess Chezz is looking for her... but not purposely? Not sure, but in this longer video posted by ChezzKids Archive, from about the half way point to the end it gets more and more intense with creepily edited pictures of faces, mixtures of creepy sceneries and colors and some mangled faces popping up; it was worse than a macro mushroom trip but the artistic and originality is impeccably impressive, so in that sense I still love it.

Wrapping this short and unimaginative journalistic piece up, you can purchase Chezz.com for about $2,000, but if you aren't going to make it anything about this mysterious project than I recommend saving your money because I won't visit it unless I see my homie Chezz the Cat on the home page and in all the flash games.
