SWMRS Tried To Come Back, But It Didn't Go As Planned

    As any SWMRS fan knows, they were canceled back in July 2020 during the height of the pandemic when allegations against many Burger Records-signed bands had come to light. Allegations including and most frequently stated as sexual assault. I don't really know any of the other bands, but from all that I've seen, all of these allegations are not false. I'm not saying that is 100% the turth, I'm just stating my opinion is yes, I think what has been said about these bands is mostly true and kind of sad. It's not hard to not be a piece of shit.

    So, Billie Joe Armstrong, the king from Green Day's son Joey Armstrong was in somewhat of a short-term relationship with Lydia Night of the rock band 'The Regrettes'. The downside of that is that she was 17 years old and he was 22 years old; caught in 4k. Either way, the fans completely crumbled SWMRS in less than 24 hours, and when they posted a bland, and strangely unapologetic letter from Joey, the fans turned even more and thus they left social media for over two years straight. But now, in October of 2022, SWMRS are posting again on social media but you can tell a lot has changed in two years, and plus the fans are still not happy with any of it.


    

I watched and listened to this letter they wrote and Cole read while Max sat awkwardly saying absolutely nothing and just looked around. They really delved into the trauma Max received after a car wreck he had been in back in 2019. Cole reads that Max suffered from brain trauma especially and how his head would hurt if he heard the dishes being washed or if he heard an ant take a shit. The letter, honest to God, was very pointless and lacked meaning and message. It was also, awkwardly unapologetic and slow.

    I just really hope some day, maybe they will "figure it out" eventually. Or if they weren't making music anymore I guess I wouldn't be hurt.

Freddie Dredd - Freddie's Inferno (Album Review)

  Freddie's Inferno album cover via SoundCloud     To the surprise of fans and everyone alike, Freddie Dredd released his newest album titled 'Freddie's Inferno' to all streaming platforms at midnight on August 11th, 2022. Giving just a slight preview as to what the album holds, Freddie sneakily released three singles prior to the albums release, 'Greed', 'Wrath', and finally 'Kick Rocks' which features fellow rapper Lil Darkie and was released just two weeks ago. Last night I sat down and played some Call of Duty Zombies and listened to the whole album nearly twice. It's tight twenty eight minute runtime is a bit shorter than I was expecting it to fully be after seeing Freddie Dredd tweet two nights ago about the album.       One of my favorite movies of all time is the Kyle Patrick Alvarez film The Stanford Prison Experiment, which was released in 2015 by IFC Films and starred Billy Crudup, Ezra Miller, Tye Sheridan, and Michael Angarano among many others. I had always thought Ezra Miller's sanity losing role in that film was executed perfectly and captured my attention and emotions for sure. But these days, when I hear about Ezra Miller, it's always really bad things. Usually he's getting arrested or causing controversies on Twitter, and as of recently if you don't already know he has been arrested again which it isn't surprising, but the reasonings behind it this time definitely are surprising.
