My Personal Top 10 Favorite Tyler, The Creator Beats (from 2009-2015)

Image
 - Rhett Rhodes     I remember way back in eighth grade and freshmen year of high school trying to jam Tyler, the Creator and Odd Future with my friends because they were listening to a lot more rap at that time. They would never like any of the songs, usually having it changed to something else after the first fifteen seconds into a track, always telling me that the beat was weird or the rapping wasn't slow. One time some complete goofy bastard of a human being told me at a bonfire party freshmen year that Tyler raps about the devil and how "that's not cool, man" and I had to sit there for a moment and wonder why this drooling moron focused on tiny little references of the devil out of anything else in the entire song. The song was Tron Cat I believe, and on those subwoofers in my friend Mitchell's truck at the time it was bumping loud and proud like a mother fucker and I didn't care who had anything to say. This was in the years of 2012 through 2014, so at t...

Mikey Alfred RUINS Everything, Na-Kel Smith Makes Fun Of Him On Instagram

Image
- Rhett Rhodes part 2, original article      It's truly a shame that no one reads this blog, or any blog in general, but mostly this blog because I wrote about Mikey Alfred's downfall last month on Oct. 10th before he decided to act out and fall down even further. After I posted my original blog post, not knowing that Alfred was even going to receive further heat from not only the skate community, but the young and often underage skateboarders that he was featuring in his newest "Hell Week" Illegal Civilization. You see, a month ago I gathered critical information just by watching and observing Illegal Civ's outdated website, social media accounts, interviews, and their YouTube account's videos, which on Oct. 10th, 2022 there wasn't any new videos in either a year or about a year, until like I said Oct. 24th when the Hell Week trailer dropped.  My original tweet of this blog post a month ago did receive some responses on October 25th, the day after the t...

WHOKILLEDXIX's Genre Change Was A Bad Idea, Their Debut Album 'PULLBACK' Was A Flop

Image
Back in mid-2020 whenever I heard the song 'Kismet' by XIX (as they were called before changing to Whokilledxix or some reason) I knew to keep my eye on any of their future endeavors from then on out. Musically I was also very inspired, and even I wanted to make songs that sounded like theirs to be honest. The style was very cool, though they didn't invent the hyperpop type style and music they put out themselves, they were one of the most eccentric in the scene for sure. Their first major EP they released in late 2020 '19' to me was an incredible project. The first song, ' Nokia Barz ' from that EP became one of my most listened to song on Spotify the next year in 2021 when it was time for the yearly wrap up; I liked all the other songs besides the last track Bosozoku; I love Whokilledxix but they're weebs and the fake British accent thing Karm was doing when he was rapping/singing on Bosozoku was unbearable. The rest of the project was great tho...

Chrisean Rock Is A Sad Thing

Image
I think one of the worst things a human being can do is objectify themselves for another human being. I know it's been the gold standard for centuries to be "in love" and find a committed partner to spend your life with, but to me I think anyone can do whatever they want. As long as it's something healthy for you, your partner, your ex partner, etc. then I say it's fine, whatever. But if you find yourself in a relationship/friendship/whatever with someone and it begins to get aggressive, resentful, depressing, or just toxic in anyway shape or form then I firmly recommend and suggest walking away from that person for a long while and focus up on yourself, your family, and eventually someday maybe you will find someone new and perhaps calmer, or better. That's not the case when it comes to idiotic tattoo-boy Blueface and this creepy thug-a-bub-bub ' Treesh ' named Chrisean Rock , the latter who constantly posts on social media and tries to start co...

SWMRS Tried To Come Back, But It Didn't Go As Planned

by Rhett Rhodes, twitter: @rhettrhodes98     As any SWMRS fan knows, they were canceled back in July 2020 during the height of the pandemic when allegations against many Burger Records-signed bands had come to light. Allegations including and most frequently stated as sexual assault. I don't really know any of the other bands, but from all that I've seen, all of these allegations are not false. I'm not saying that is 100% the turth, I'm just stating my opinion is yes, I think what has been said about these bands is mostly true and kind of sad. It's not hard to not be a piece of shit.     So, Billie Joe Armstrong, the king from Green Day's son Joey Armstrong was in somewhat of a short-term relationship with Lydia Night of the rock band 'The Regrettes'. The downside of that is that she was 17 years old and he was 22 years old; caught in 4k. Either way, the fans completely crumbled SWMRS in less than 24 hours, and when they posted a bland, and strangely una...

Illegal Civilization Is Not The First Teen Movie Studio | North Hollywood Mini-Review

Image
by Rhett Rhodes twitter: @rhettrhodes98      If you go to IllegalCivilization.com , you are immediately met with the description of "the first teen movie studio", even though they aren't the first teen movie studio, nor do they fit the age range to qualify as teenagers. The description of their YouTube channel also clarifies that as well, weirdly. Illegal Civilization is a skateboard company/brand started by Mikey Alfred after he started filming his friends skateboarding at the age of around thirteen years old, which for Mikey was 2008. He was thirteen years old in 2008, but wouldn't release any Illegal Civilization content until the first and short titular video, 'Illegal Civilization' in 2012 when Mikey was seventeen years old. 2012 was also the year that Mikey began hanging around and filming Tyler, the Creator and Odd Future as they were at their highest and most popular, that fact being known from Odd Future's New York Noisey video .     ...

The Baldwin Police Department Covered Up Michael Roseblum's Death In 1980

Image
by  Rhett Rhodes        That's a very bold title and statement right off the bat but hear me out, it has to be true. I read every word of this case and then some, there's quite literally no possible way that Michael Rosenblum, who disappeared in January of 1980, wasn't murdered by this police department. Michael Rosenblum was a 26 year old man who always got himself into trouble with the police due to his heavy drinking and drug use. Whenever he would get pulled over by law enforcement he would often times fight with the police when being detained and even had a history of trying to get away from the police causing huge chases. In basic terms, he was a bit of a menace so that's definitely one thing to keep in mind when diving into this case, because obviously police officers were severely impatient with him in general.     Michael met a woman named Lisa Sharer as they both stayed at a psychiatric institute in December of 1979; quickly enough, the two g...
